I love my career in education. It has opened doors and opportunities that I didn’t even know existed. My drive and passion to support students has now grown to supporting educators to better our students’ achievement levels. My M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction has motivated my passion for doing more in the education field. Middle School Science has always been my choice of teaching, but my current position as an Instructional Coach for grades K-8 in all subject areas has provided me with an insight for a love for Math and ELA that I didn’t realize was there. I LOVE watching students in lower grades connect the dots to achieve the standards set before them. I am certified in mentor and content leader through the state of Louisiana. Consulting with education programs to support educators to obtain these certifications is also something I find a joy in doing. Educators need to know that the sky is the limit when working towards bettering themselves for their students. I strive to be that help for any teacher that calls on me. The times in the education field are somewhat challenging these days, but with the love I have for educators and students I proudly accept this challenge to continue the push for making this career amazing as it has always been.You never know what I will work for next because being an educator is truly my superpower. ❤️
