I graduated cum laude from Trinity University in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and I am certified by the ASBMB. As a student-athlete, I competed on the varsity cross country and track teams at Trinity for all four years in the NCAA DIII Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). I was recognized by the USTFCCCA for my athletic and academic performance my freshman year, I was on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll all four years, and I made the SCAC-All Conference team twice in my collegiate career for being amongst the top 14 individuals in the athletic conference. As a student on the premedical track, I was a peer mentor for other premed students through Trinity University's AMSA chapter, and I helped recruit prospective students as an Admissions Ambassador. Outside of athletics and academics, I have been involved in research for almost 2.5 years now, and I am currently working as a full-time research assistant while applying to medical school and pursuing a career as a physician scientist.
