I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts (Communication Science and Rhetorical Studies Track) and Psychology, with Certificates in Digital Studies and Science Communication. I am interested in studying human behavior and the ways in which we communicate. I am looking to in pursue a career in communications, public relations and outreach, and/or marketing. I am curious about the intersection between the fields of psychology and communications, more specifically how the ways in which we communicate effect development, behavior, and mental health. Other areas of interest include communication about climate change/sustainability, disparities in health communication, and the effect of digital technology and social media on communication. I currently work as a Strategic Communications Student Intern for the Facilities Planning and Management division of UW-Madison as well as a Strategic Communications Intern for American Family Insurance.
