After 20 years at Caterpillar, following earlier Procurement, Supply Chain and Distributor roles in my career, I have transitioned to a variety of voluntary roles in the charity, school, business and further education sector, per my experience listing. These have allowed me to build on my Board participation and leadership skills, initially gained during my lengthy time as a trustee and chair of our Caterpillar DC Pension Trust. I am enjoying meeting a variety of great people, learning about many different business sectors, along with building a depth of understanding to help support the more vulnerable in our society. I greatly enjoy helping to develop strategy, coaching for business efficiency along with developing and mentoring teams and individuals. I am also very interested in environmental matters and completed a green Skills Boot Camp in Q2, 2024, gaining Carbon Literacy status along with becoming an associate member of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management). Who says you can't take on new challenges in your 50's!!I am seeking a Non-Exec Director role, where I can support the transition to greener practices, processes, products and services.
