Research intern in The Carter Center's Peace Programs focused on initiatives in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Worked with the headquarters team to provide support to the DRC based teams working on Human Rights, Civil Society, and Extractive Industries Governance issues. Tasks included translating French press releases and news stories, tracking political activity in anticipation of national elections, and managing budgets and ledgers.

Worked as a student assistant in the Office of Student Conduct. Planned on campus activities, created informational resources and posters, and helped with program development and management.

Brussels Area, Belgium

Conducted research on transatlantic relations specifically in regards to energy security. Also helped with office management tasks including data entry, answering phones, managing events, and communications.

Birmingham, Alabama Area

Assisted the mission of GASP which is to educate the public on health risks associated with poor air and to engage in environmental justice initiatives in Alabama. Used resources such as the EPA, Jefferson County Health Department (JCDH), and the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) to conduct research on facilities.
