About Anna-Marie Swan
Living in Exeter, Devon (UK), on the cusp of Dartmoor and the Jurassic Coast, my ongoing discovery of myself as an ecological creature saturates my work, interests, and perspectives. After authoring the story of ecological organisations and the accompanying Ecological Organisations: A Design Lens in 2023, released under Creative Commons, a whole new world has opened up that I'm loving exploring: humans and organisations as ecological. As edged and edge-less, of relationship and of interbeing, and wonderfully and irreparably entangled within social systems, ecosystems, the more-than-human, and this planet.I also host time-bound, small group facilitated explorations utilising a form of enquiry I'm developing called ecological enquiry. This includes exploring facilitation through ecological enquiry within the Facilitation Pods Commons. I write about my work and other things in the substack Cellular Rearranging, and host and produce the podcast Generative Worlding.
