During my time as a Fundraising Officer at First Light, I have formed three Corporate Partnerships, working with businesses who have a shared dedication to making a positive difference in the community.Working with these fabulous partnerships has allowed us to participate in amazing fundraising events, such as the Plymouth Run, where corporate teams raised over £3,600 to support the services we offer across the South West.In previous roles throughout my career, I have been on the other side of the fence, working for corporates but managing the relationships with the charitable organisations we were partnering with, and fundraising for.Past roles have also included event management, project management and communication which have all been transferable skills into fundraising, enabling me to grow and build relationships and support organisations to achieve their CSR goals.
