Working with a faculty mentor to produce spatial data products detailing energy use, land use, and demographics for the Louisville, KY-IN Metropolitan Statistical Area. Final data products used to inform the writing of the Louisville, KY-IN MSA Comprehensive Climate Action Plan through the Louisville Metro Office of Sustainability and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant.

Worked directly with the Louisville Metro Division of Urban Forestry's GIS Analyst on various GIS initiatives. Daily tasks included management of a geodatabase with 25,000+ points, helping to manage field workers and their use of ArcGIS products (namely Field Maps and Survey123), and data editing and updating for integrity. Most notably, in this position, I led the redesign of a large geodatabase to include related tables and a work order management system in order to make both data management and field work more streamlined.

Work with youth representatives from across Louisville to strength the Office of Safe and Healthy Communities and their youth engagement initiatives through volunteer work and policy writing.

Lived on-site at Morehead State University, looking over 40+ incoming high school seniors in both a residential and educational/developmental sense. Helped students to maintain personal and social well-being. Taught a Leadership Seminar, focusing on personal discovery and values.

Researched and wrote questions in Language Arts and Arts and Humanities for high school academic teams in Kentucky.

Worked with the Education department at the Contemporary Arts Center to create and facilitate projects aimed at teens in order to engage a younger population with the arts community. Worked with the quarterly Artist-in-Residence and Young Adult Lab programs.

Worked with children from ages 1-12 on developing skills ranging from basic water survival skills to competitive swimming strokes. Taught both group and private lessons, working with parents and guardians to find the best options for their child(ren).
