Passionate about the role that creative, system shifting policy and advocacy can play in supporting positive change. I've worked on a wide variety of areas across my career including climate change, social welfare, health and housing; at global, EU, UK and grassroots level. I've worked within government, for professional associations and for a range of NGOs.I currently work as an enabler with the Leadership Centre, a senior associate with the Innovation Unit and on an independent basis. I create and lead programmes to support people working with complex societal problems to create the kind of imaginative, brave and creative solutions we need. I support people to work with resistance to change and stuckness within the systems the work within along with the personal barriers we all work with when we are trying to change something.I previously led policy and advocacy work for vaccines at the Wellcome Trust including how to maintain vital immunisation systems to prevent other infectious disease outbreaks during covid, how to reform the vaccine markets to make them sustainable and fair, and on tackling the huge inequity in global access to Covid vaccines.I continue to be involved in the Point People a network which aims to facilitate systems thinking that cuts across traditional boundaries. I am also a 'recovering' social entrepreneur and enjoy finding time to mentor on the Year Here and Bethnal Green Ventures programmes.
