• Responsible for the development of member resources and public policy proposals to address the recruitment, retention, and development of the long-term care workforce. • Assists in gathering and the analyzing of data regarding long term care workforce needs and trends that help inform strategies to address challenges and benchmark progress.• Directs the work of the Association’s Workforce Action Team and other workforce-related committees.• Develops marketing and promotion materials for new programs and resources.

* Ensures compliance in a variety of HR functions including Affirmative Action requirements/reporting, regulatory education/training requirements for staff, and complying with applicable federal/state/local laws and regulations.* Researches and reviews grant funding opportunities that support the organization’s recruitment, retention, and development efforts; prepares grant applications/proposals, maintains program records/reports, and reviews existing grant program to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.* Oversees employee educational scholarship program and recognition programs; develops program materials, manages program budget and data, and reviews effectiveness of the programs with the senior leadership team.* Supports recruiting efforts by developing industry partnerships to establish pipelines of applicants in priority roles, provides input to talent acquisition strategies, and assists in presentations/tours to potential employees.* Supports the training team by participating in the preparation and presentation of internal, external, regulatory, and grant-funded trainings, supervisory trainings, and new hire orientations.* Oversees clinical experience program to form partnerships with external training providers and educational institutions to provide on-site training experiences for external and internal students.
