Providing immediate and confidential emotional support using agency procedures and policies for individuals in distress. Helping to connect individuals internationally with mental help support. Treated people in shock and distressed situations. Helped them talk through their issues to come to their own conclusions. Collaborated as a team and as an individual.

Managed a team of 25 people along with my co-president at Hillel Waterloo. Used leadership strategies to over see the planning of events, fundraisers, marketing, etc. Brainstorm with team members and use problem solving skills to create the best events we can. Supported the team in any way that is deemed necessary and manage conflicts as they arise.

Facilitated and organized a student development committee. Oversaw individual’s progress. Networked with Wilfrid Laurier and UWaterloo alumni to reach out to over 1100 businesses through social media and email marketing. Collected over 200 items from 100 businesses to create 8 themed baskets. Using a virtual silent auction platform and social media marketing, the team was able to fundraise over $3000 from bids and donation after 5 months and countless hours from the team.

Throughout the pandemic, I assisted the professors in grading undergraduate work within the Anthropology department. Additionally, I engaged with distressed students, helping to explain the material to them, go through the university's policies, and answer emails promptly.

Connected patients to medical professionals during COVID-19. This allowed for people of all ages to remain in isolation during a difficult time, yet still access medical support related to COVID-19 or other illnesses. The high pressure and important work included dealing with suicide calls, COVID-19 testing and return to work, and physical injuries.

Liaison between staff, students and parents, problem-solving, customer service and working as a team. In charge of 30 young children and 4 staff under high-pressure situations.

Attended educational seminars and worked on projects with a concentration in marketing, advertising, and social media.
