- Acting in the position of Area Maintenance Manager for Process Area North.- Responsible for managing the all maintenance activities (Contract and Shell), including 2 x Supervisors and + 20 tradespersons.- Development of visual board to display daily maintenance activities driving a change to improve communication between Maintenance and Operations leading to an increased schedule attainment & clarity over non-conformances.- Development of 3 month look ahead – visual calendar of major maintenance activities – with the potential to reduce the number of extensions required due to unplanned work..- Lead team to achieving 100% compliance of all regulated maintenance activities plus >95% PM compliance for 6 of the 7 months in role.

- Formally accredited to be a Graduate Interviewer for Shell Australia.- Responsible for conducting telephone interview with candidates for the Shell Graduate program in line with Shell Australias guidelines.- Responsible for providing feedback on graduate interviews and recommendations to proceed/regret.

- Optimising maintenance practices through use of SAP functionality.- Accountable for all SAP Master Data at Geelong Refinery.- Business lead for ensuring business needs are met during conversion to Global SAP - including SAP - IDMS interface.- Analysis of SAP PM data.- Responsible for RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) program at Geelong Refinery, including the transition from formal RCM studies to a living process.

- Site development of the Reliability Management Framework and Management of Threats to Availability processes.- Change management aspects of maintenance/ reliability based on risk to availability approach- Development of a structured defect analysis and improvement process- Development of the Reliability Engineer role- Site Coordinator for Global Maintenance Execution (ME) process – including reporting on the status of the various tactics, identifying blockers to success, participation in European wide conferences and development of communication plans- Change management activities in support of Maintenance Execution process (structured preventative maintenance activities based on risk to availability)- Change management support for the introduction to the SAP maintenance tool- Conducting process safety & personal safety checks in the plant• Leading incident investigation into safety incidents – trained in Route Cause Analysis and TRIPOD analysis- Participation in safety meetings where the Risk Analysis Matrix (RAM) is used to accessing consequences- Development of the RMF process including tactics for the way forward (defensive & proactive), leading and lagging metrics, communication plans, roles and responsibilities within the organisation- Development of Shell Global Mitigate Threats to Availability process on site – including a spreadsheet for capturing threats, prioritising threats and assigning resources (based on the RAM) and communication plans - Leading Incident investigation into reliability/ cost incidents – trained in Route Cause Analysis and TRIPOD- Problem solving to resolve ‘Bad Actors’ – including 5-Why process- Daily SAP analysis to identify problem equipment or ‘Bad Actors’- SAP reporting – including validation of data behind SAP Business Warehouse reports- Creation plus rationalsiation of Maintenance Plans (preventative maintenance plans)
