Designing new stuff and improving existing features of Finland's biggest commercial newspapers' digital platforms (HS, IS, AL, SK and regional newspapers, web, iOS, Android) for better reader experience. My focus is to be data-driven and include our readers' voice as much as possible in the design process.

Concept creation, user interface design, prototyping and service design in an agile environment. Various big Finnish clients from multiple sectors, from banking to retail to public services.

Working as a part-time designer, I conducted a remote user insight research in Nigeria and helped with strategies and methods on how to involve users in different phases of design.

I focused on functional and user experience design in a multitude of IT projects in various economical sectors. Few of my last roles were functional architect, design lead and usability test lead, which also included project management responsibilities. I have experience from completely customized solutions to configuring packaged software and from Finnish clients to truly global players. Accenture took me from Finland to places such as Netherlands, Tanzania, India, UK and South Africa so I'm comfortable working with a mix of cultures in various settings. Other tasks included e.g. leading customer teams, concept creation, process design, proposal work, test planning and documentation, training, internal communications and risk management.

Instructor and grader for 90 students for an IT tools and methods course. Basics and best practices of Microsoft Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Visual Basic and HTML.

I worked as a summer trainee in the concepting team. My main task was to do an user experience survey of a reach truck product that had been launched the previous year. The themes of the survey included e.g. ergonomy, durability, repairability, manuevarability and aesthetics. In addition to this I did a study of custom reach trucks, with focus on why the customers wanted customisation and what was customised.
