Welcome to my profile! I am a 26-year-old Graduate student getting my Master's in Occupational Therapy (OT) at San Jose State University. I have a lot of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. Child development has always fascinated me, so I hope to pursue a career as a pediatric OT once I graduate. I have worked with the same client (currently 8 years old) as her respite caregiver for over four years now. I have seen so much growth and improvement over the years which further solidified my desire to pursue pediatric OT.Before working as a respite caregiver, I was a swim instructor for children 6 mos.-8 years old. I quickly earned a manager position and worked for this job for a total of 4 years. This experience allowed me to see all stages and abilities of early childhood development.
