Working on E3G's Climate Diplomacy & Geopolitics programme, I focus on G7 and G20 influencing, to ensure 1.5°C-aligned outcomes in accordance with the Paris Agreement. I conduct:- Geopolitical mapping to understand countries' interests, priorities and diplomatic strategies, with a particular focus on the BRICS,- Policy analysis regarding climate targets and their delivery, to inform multilateral venues' discussions and signal-setting, on NDCs in particular,- Political engagement with governments, diplomats and international institutions to inform climate ambition and negotiations - in the form of private briefings, regular meetings, workshops, high-level roundtable etc.- Media engagement to update journalists and media outlets on the expectations, outcomes, and key takeaways of relevant negotiations and summits throughtout the year - including G7/G20 ministerials and leaders' summits.
