Working on E3G's Climate Diplomacy & Geopolitics programme, I focus on G7 and G20 influencing, to ensure 1.5°C-aligned outcomes in accordance with the Paris Agreement. I conduct:- Geopolitical mapping to understand countries' interests, priorities and diplomatic strategies, with a particular focus on the BRICS,- Policy analysis regarding climate targets and their delivery, to inform multilateral venues' discussions and signal-setting, on NDCs in particular,- Political engagement with governments, diplomats and international institutions to inform climate ambition and negotiations - in the form of private briefings, regular meetings, workshops, high-level roundtable etc.- Media engagement to update journalists and media outlets on the expectations, outcomes, and key takeaways of relevant negotiations and summits throughtout the year - including G7/G20 ministerials and leaders' summits.

As a researcher, I worked on the UK and the EU's energy transitions, with a focus on (1) energy efficiency, and (2) the decarbonisation of heating, cooling and buildings more generally - the second driver of emissions in these geographies after transport.I conducted policy analysis and recommendations towards our campaigns on electrification - in the context of a just and fair transition during the energy crisis - for the people, climate and the economy.I promoted my team's research more widely in our parliamentary and ministerial engagement in the UK and the EU, and contributed to the coordination of CSO coalitions where E3G held secretariat.

Role: after founding the society, setting our objectives and teaming up a committee of 12 students, I managed our agenda and made sure we were on track for the fixed goals of the year. This included networking with various bodies at King's for our organisation to gain visibility and support, setting events and campaigns for other students to learn about climate change, exchange ideas, and join/support our projects.Aim: building a community of students to act upon climate change at university and beyond, through organised events and campaigns. Campaigns launched : - Green energy and investment campaign - to ensure Kings' prioritised renewable energy consumption and divested away from fossil fuels (completed)- Education campaign - making climate change a compulsory part of the curriculum, in a way that is tailored and relevant to every course offered at King's- On-campus waste and plastic reduction, in partnership with the Student Union- Meatless Mondays, in partnership with the Student Union - to raise awareness on increasing meat consumption worldwide and how this impacts carbon emissionsAwards : - KCL Student Union Platinum volunteering award- Environmental impact awardKing's College London has now fully divested from fossil fuels thanks to our green energy campaign.

My role consisted in raising funds for small to large projects for grassroot entrepreneurs in East Africa by helping organise an auction.More than £70, 000 were eventually raised to support a village in Kenya at the Association of Corporate Treasurer’s annual gala dinner (1,500 guests).In parallel, I also gained insights on practical projects with farmers and grassroot entrepreneurs in Tanzania, and how this benefitted their communities.
