Growing up, I always loved solving puzzles. The sense of accomplishment from figuring out solutions to problems has driven me ever since. Now, as a senior Civil Engineering student at the University of South Carolina, I'm on the lookout for opportunities that will keep fueling this passion. During my internships with Miller Valentine Construction, I gained insight into project management and scheduling. Over the past 2 summers, I've assisted in the development of 9 projects totaling about 1,000,000 sq. ft. I helped advance projects by utilizing AutoCAD to create conceptual exterior and interior site layouts. As well, I reviewed over 500 drawings and communicated with subcontractors and engineers daily. From these tasks I've developed strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. My goal is to continue working on projects that benefit public and local communities while also being sustainable. I take pride in being driven to continuously learn and improve in order to be the best version of myself. I'm also wired to help others and uplift those around me. Most of all, I strive to deliver high quality results while building lasting relationships.I'm excited to bring my attention to detail, energy, and passion to a team of professionals dedicated to building infrastructure that makes a positive, lasting impact in communities.
