Lane Neave is one of New Zealand's longest established law firms, with origins dating back to 1860. I am one of six partners in the firm's national corporate team and am based in our Christchurch office. I lead Lane Neave's competition and consumer protection law practice, which advises on such matters as Commerce Commission investigations, cartel conduct (e.g. price fixing etc), leniency applications, merger regulation, misuse of market power, and compliance with the Fair Trading Act and other consumer protection laws. I am also the key contact for the firm's intellectual property practice, and provide a wide range of legal advice to corporate and commercial clients, as well as not-for-profit organisations.

The Competition Law and Policy Institute of New Zealand (CLIPNZ) is a professional membership body for academics, lawyers and economists practicing in the fields of competition/antitrust and fair trading law and policy. CLIPNZ is best known for hosting an annual conference, now in its 36th year, which features a line-up of distinguished international and local speakers.

The Canterbury Society of Arts Charitable Trust is a registered charity that operates Toi Moroki l The Centre of Contemporary Art (CoCA), a curated art gallery in central Christchurch. CoCA provides free public access to modern art as well as a platform for contemporary practitioners, in particular prominent artists from Aotearoa New Zealand.
