Starting in 2002 as a office clerk processing commission payments and eligibility, i then moved into the General office and then moved out to the selling floor where i had the opportunity to work with customers and suppliers. As time progressed, i was selected to join the Management Development program where i was trained for a leadership role within the organisation. I was appointed as Service Support Manager at Myer Sydney City where i managed the General office, Layby and Switchboard teams and provided support to the Operations Managers. During this time i also participated in a Safety Audit. I was then offered a position as Operations Manager at Myer Hurstville where i was responsible for the financial, shrinkage and safety KPI's for the store while also managing the General Office and Receiving Teams.After returning from maternity leave, I chose to step down from managment and take a service and selling role on the floor. I then was asked to fulfil the Safety Administrator role. At the time the store was failing to meet its safety KPI and was visited fortnightly by our regional safety advisors. In time, the store was able to turn this around and acheived it's KPI.
