In data entry, the QA process revolves around gathering and reviewing data prepared by data entry coordinators. Develop and Monitor Data Entry Quality Systems The Data Quality Manager helps develop data entry systems, controls and analysis tools that help ensure consistent quality throughout the data entry process. The Data Quality Manager must perform periodic reviews and updates to QA controls and practices based on changing technology, workplace evolution or client demands. Along with developing processes, the Data Quality Manager must train and coach career specialists to implement proper standards. Reporting The Data Quality Manager must periodically collect and review reports to uncover any data errors and to coordinate correction. The Data Quality Manager must ensure that regional managers and specialists have collected and reported all required eNDMS data and work with regional managers and specialists to correct any errors and inconsistencies. The Data Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring all reports to granting agencies and organizations have accurate outcomes data. Teamwork and Collaboration The Data Quality Manager will report to the Vice President of Program Development. In most organizations, it is important that leaders in each department or office understand how their work impacts other areas. Therefore, a Data Quality Manager must periodically meet with others to assess data requirements and usage. This step helps to build or evolve quality control systems. Additionally, QA leaders must receive ongoing training in best practices and new software programs used in data entry.
