I currently teach Year 2 and lead Literacy & Language for Early Years and Primary at St Louis School, Milan.As a qualified Primary School Teacher with a PGCE in Primary Education and a BA Hons in History, I have taught various year groups from KS1 to KS2 for over five years.Previously, I led History and the Year 3/4 Phase, ensuring pupil progression and curriculum alignment. I am also an Oracy Champion, having participated in the Voice 21 Stage 2 Gloucestershire schools project, which empowers pupils to express themselves confidently and effectively through spoken language. I have organised and facilitated whole school P4C (philosophy for children) clubs, enhancing critical thinking and communication skills. I have also contributed to staff development and curriculum planning, providing useful solutions and setting high expectations. I am resilient, hard-working, and passionate about creating a vocabulary rich environment that enables every child to find their voice and achieve their potential. My goal is to continue to grow as a teacher and a leader, and to make a positive impact on the education and well-being of my pupils and colleagues.
