In Schoeneber Lab, I was a researcher and data scientist skilled in implementing advanced deep-learning models for processing microscopic images in a laboratory setting. I have developed software for extracting mitochondria morphology features and custom network features for understanding mitochondria networks as a biomarker for disease and neurological conditions. I integrated easy-to-use ML analysis based on the outputs of the software for the biological community without domain knowledge of ML. In addition, I worked with 3D models for denoising and 2D/3D models for cell segmentation and have automated the end-to-end project pipeline for data processing, training, and prediction. In addition, I have presented my findings in an academic setting and stay current with the latest advancements in the field through literature reviews.
