Dr. Smith owns and operates one of the leading dental practices in the United States. She practices as a general dentist in Illinois and provides all types of dental services in her office, from routine restorative dentistry to complex wisdom teeth extractions, surgical implant placement, root canals, TMJ treatment, oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea and Botox. She has been internationally recognized as a Fastbraces dentist. She was the first Fastbraces Senior Master Affiliate in the United States and the first Fastbraces Master Affiliate in the St. Louis region. In 2011-2012 Dr. Smith was recognized as "Top Doctor" worldwide by the inventor of Fastbraces. Dr. Smith is a speaker and trainer for Fastbraces Technology. She currently teaches Fastbraces CE courses around the country. Her office became the first Fastbraces Academy in the United States. Once a month she hosts a group of dentists at her office where she provides hands-on training to help them improve their Fastbraces techniques.Since 2008 Dr. Smith has been treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea using oral appliance therapy. She currently provides more SomnoMed oral sleep appliances than any dentist in North America. She has been internationally recognized as one of only a few dentists to earn "Sapphire Partner" status for her dedication to helping patients use oral appliances.
