I wrote, edited and managed a variety of internal and external communications, including an internal blog for sales reps, marketing emails, sales enablement collateral and interview-based longform articles. To bring to life the hidden complexities of supply chain management, I covered topics ranging from unexplained work stoppages at a battery recycling plant to a city's first steps to 5G.

As the writer at a design startup selling a wide range of products across many platforms, my job was to create a consistent and compelling brand voice that turned shoppers into advocates for Greater Goods, regardless of where they found us or what they bought.My job was to:-Implement an engaging brand identity that unified a broad product line-Clarify and communicate the company's mission to make products responsibly and donate a piece of the profits-Speak to customers consistently and empathetically at all points of the purchasing process, from third-party retailers to our own customer service and marketing effortsDay-to-day, I:-Wrote sales, marketing, and technical copy for products sold online and in stores at Amazon, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and more (including packaging assets, transactional and marketing emails, online product manuals, customer service responses, and brand-building content)-Planned, created, and maintained content on our own website that communicated who we were and helped people use our products -Worked with tech and agency teams to design and implement a custom back-end content management and marketing system-Wrote UX copy and provided design input on apps for connected health products-Responded to sensitive customer service questions and product reviews-Wrote copy and ran the email marketing campaign for a Kickstarter that was fully funded on the first day and eventually raised over $150,000 (more than 1200% of the goal)

I wrote and edited weekly profiles of entrepreneurs and creatives doing good in St. Louis, as well as long-form investigative pieces and personal essays. Over the course of my work, I interviewed a broad range of thinkers and makers, from a scientist working to diagnose rare diseases to the director of the Missouri History Museum. One of the articles I edited was reposted by Longform.org.

I wrote summaries of grant proposals received by CCI, which directs government funds to art and culture initiatives.

At this local literary magazine, I read and provided input on poetry and fiction submissions. I also assisted with routine office work and maintained a computer database of submissions.
