Responsible for launching RFQ process and ensuring the timely placement of purchase orders for machined parts to meet government military contracts, with current qualified suppliers while re-negotiating cost in relation to changes between quantity quoted and timeline for orders originally quoted.  Ensured vendors met the internal timelines they committed to meet while maintaining the ITAR requirements for qualification of parts and vendors who supply them.  Focused on transition of key purchasing functions to new plant (in Texas) from the existing plant (in Cleveland) which ended operations at the end of 2012.
