Aphra Shemza is a London-based multimedia artist. With exhibitions at OXO Tower Wharf and Kinetic ArtFair, her work explores Modernism, Islamic cultural heritage, sustainable practice and creating art for all.- Brainstorming creative direction and providing design rationales, ensuring client’s core message stays on point across all channels. - Ensuring designs meet objectives, budget and timeline, and ensuring the quality of the deliverables, using Cinema 4D, Adobe Photoshop and Concepts applications.- Generating ideas, and testing/adjusting content and infographic designs.- Creating a VR experience of the client’s exhibition, including formatting and YouTube channel adaptation, so a wider audience can access the artwork, and to add to the client’s website and increase sales.- Designing and animating 2D and 3D assets, textures, and animations to make them adaptable for exporting into other 3D applications, like Sketchfab for web showreel and Unity for VR/AR experiences.- Visualising the client’s exhibition in a 3D environment to use in a pitch presentation for investors. - Integrating AR into the development process of the final product to increase engagement. - Identifying opportunities for new product ranges and reviewing and enhancing 3D designs for existing products.- Managing documentation for both new and revised 3D designs.

During an MA in Digital Media, I had the pleasure of working with the V&A Museum in London, EVA London 2020 and various businesses in the production of physical prototyping, final mock-up presentations, motion graphics for advertising and OOH billboards. I have been involved in creating online exhibitions and magazines. My fascination with 3D designs proved invaluable in informing creative decisions associated with mood, tone and rhythm. I worked with an array of clients, in a range of industries from beauty, to food, to luxury lifestyle products. As a freelancer, I am versatile in order to fit the client’s needs, carrying out projects ranging from motion graphics for social to full- blown advertising campaigns and branding collateral.- Conceptualising, designing and executing art projects, with a focus on emerging technologies, adding interactivity into existing products (AR editorial design and VR experience of the space) and sustainability (reducing production waste). - 3D paper prototyping, creating digital collages, and using motion tracking to create showreels of potential work for clients.- Understanding the project requirements and developing high-quality designs accordingly.- Creating 3D assets – adaptable for exporting between different software, like Sketchfab, Unity, and Adobe After Effects – to check lighting, materials and rigging.- Developing design layouts for complex projects using 3D/2D computer graphics and mixed reality applications.- Developing primary sketches and models for final selection of product, exhibitions, editorial and 3D garment design, with realistic lighting and texturing according to the environment. - Reviewing 3D designs and providing recommendations.- Selecting materials, engineering standards and generic parts for 3D product designs.- Presenting designs to clients and internal teams clearly.

It's a private, by-invitation-only gallery situated in the heart of Mayfair with a stock of pictures by late-19th, early-20th century Russian and Ukrainian artists.Goal: to refresh the gallery brand across all the social media accounts, promotional material and in-house design layouts to ensure a quality is reflected in the presentation of the James Butterwick gallery.- Assist in the design process for immersive art exhibitions, using Adobe Photoshop/After Effects, Cinema 4D and SketchFab.- Research on content visualisation and Russian Auction market trends- Producing sketches and 3D computer generated images to design exhibition presentations and project visualisations to convey ideas to external parties, like TEFAF: The European Fine Art Fair and Artsy.Knowledge of the interaction between 2d graphics and 3d spaces. - Promotion of the gallery’s exhibitions and in charge of updating the gallery’s website and promoting the exhibitions via various types of social media (Instagram/Facebook/Youtube).- Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction.- Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content, posting stories, organising advertisement that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation.
