The VeiligheidsRegio Utrecht (VRU) is the organisation repsonsible for the fire-safety and crisismanagement in the province of Utrecht; with its 2500 employees it functions as the centre of control for an large web of partners, such as as city-councils and the police department, in case of emergencies.I help look after the daily flow of documentation that is produced throughout the organisation. I give advice about the way our applications should be set up to best enable our people to store and share information. I ensure everything is in place to find and manage necessary information. I help ensure the compliancy of the VRU to the different laws concerning archiving and information. I do this as part of a great team.

Divers

As an employee of BECIS BV I was detached to several (semi-) government institutions to assist in and advise on their information management. Examples include Cordaan, a large healthcare providor in Amsterdam, who wished to acquire a Document Management System. I functioned as project-advisor. For the Waterschap Noord-Hollands Noorderkwartier I helped inventorise a part of their extensive archive. There was also the VeiligheidsRegio Utrecht, where they, happily, asked me to stay as an Information Manager.

Divers

TTP detached me as an information manager to a number of different locations. The most significant post being the Documentary Information Management Department of the Ministerie van Verkeer en Waterstaat (nowadays the Ministery of Infrastructure).

Activities and Societies: The subject of my thesis was a comparison between the real auction of artworks by the heirs of King William III.

Master'S Degree, Commercial Law

Activities and Societies: I wrote my thesis on the (Dutch) statute of limitations with regards to the artworks displaced during the Second.
