Leads, develops and manages strategic direction of regular giving, mid-value and legacy giving programmes to maximise income and grow a pipeline of major gift and principal gift donors.Cultivates a high value portfolio of legacy and major gift prospects to secure philanthropic gifts up to six figure level and above. Oversees project management of multi-channel donor journeys for acquisition, retention and stewardship of supporters to the College. Oversees and manages growing mass portfolio of mid-level, major gift, legacy prospects and pledgers through a range of communication channels including face to face, telephone, direct mail and email to increase income and donor numbers. Continuous development of case for support and suite of fundraising materials. Partners with major gift and principal gift fundraisers to embed legacy messaging in gift solicitations. Partners with academics to identify income generating opportunities for solicitation of key donors.Oversees effective stewardship of all audiences in regular giving and legacy giving. Leads, develops, manages and mentors a team of five supporting them to progress in their professional development. Monitors and mitigates for risks and threats (staff and financial resources, changes to fundraising legislation, tax laws, Data Protection Act, quality of data, etc.) to fundraising activities and the overall impact on the College.

South Kensington Campus

- Established Imperial’s first ever legacy giving programme to increase numbers of legacy pledgers and value of legacy income from alumni and supporters of the College. - Co-ordinated legacy programme across programmatic areas of the Advancement Division particularly the regular giving and major giving pipelines.- Developed long term legacy strategy and key metrics to measure success of legacy programme. - Managed large legacy portfolio with low and high net worth individuals soliciting legacy gifts and/or major gifts as appropriate. - Developed criteria to identify major gift prospects in the legacy programme to facilitate successful partnering with major gift fundraisers. - Liaised closely with academics from across the College to facilitate conversations with prospects and donors around their giving intentions. - Worked closely with Imperial’s legal team to develop legacy wording for bequests to the College.- Established processes for recording and reporting on legacy pledges and income in line with external benchmarking. - Managed relationships with several external agencies to support development of the legacy programme. - Established a successful annual event programme and donor recognition circle for legacy to steward pledgers of all levels. - Built relationships with staff across various Faculties at Imperial to identify giving opportunities for legacy and major gift prospects.
