As a recent graduate of Duke University, I have spent the last two years exploring the theory of sociological resonance and the practice of hospitality as they relate to a changing climate, the recognition of human and nonhuman interdependence on the land, and the formation of just and sustainable food systems. Over the past year, I served as co-president of Duke's Divinity Student Council, spearheading ongoing efforts to restructure the way in which we disbursed funds, planned events, and advocated for the student body. My graduate studies were strengthened by conversations with diverse voices and experiences, exposing my blind spots and emphasizing my role in the cultivation of spaces of inclusion and belonging. I'm incredibly passionate about connecting individuals with career-based, academic, and personal resources, utilizing my administrative and teaching skills to bring others greater knowledge and understanding.Skills Include: public speaking, event planning, grant writing, asset mapping, teaching/tutoring, editing, academic research, writing literature reviews, curricular selection, programmatic oversight and evaluation, volunteer coordination, budget management, Canvas, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace
