Recruit, train, and manage volunteers which help vulnerable adults maintain independence and pursue wellness on their own terms. Ensure clients receive high-quality services. Assess clients for eligibility and fit. Match volunteers with clients to maximize the social benefits of the program. Using the public health model, advocate for the needs of older adults and people with disabilities to build a community which is universally accessible. Advocate for access to transportation and housing for all adults, including those without immigration documentation, using existing systems when possible and creating new systems when necessary. Partnering with public and private entities to recognize and celebrate the contributions of older adults and people with disabilities in building and sustaining a healthy community.

Provide strengths-based staff supervision for a growing, creative DVSA organization. Support staff, volunteers, leadership, and community partners in client-centered and trauma informed practice. Provide clinical supervision for advocacy staff on a regular and as-needed basis. Manage staff Development and Evaluation in support of the Executive Director. Provide agency outreach, develop and maintain community partnerships, promote and provide training and personal/professional development opportunities for HAVEN staff, volunteers, and partners as well as community service agencies. Maintain continuous focus on improving community capacity for recognizing, responding to, and preventing gender-based violence in all forms, using the Public Health Model. Supervise prevention, counseling, and direct service provision in communities throughout HAVEN’s 4-county service area. Facilitate open, ethical communication between staff, leadership, clients, and community partners. Attend and periodically lead community meetings such as MDT, SART, Sexual Health Coalition, and more. Promote a climate of psychological, emotional, and personal safety at HAVEN. Participate in data collection and program evaluation as needed. Support fundraising efforts as appropriate.

- Worked with staff and the ED to develop a Volunteer Program, including application and review process, 40 hour training program, and ongoing training and support.- Provided outreach to civic organizations, agency partners, emergency responders and the medical community, DHS and Public Health. I coordinate HAVEN's primary prevention efforts, including the Empowerment Project, Healthy Relationship education in schools for youth & staff, and outreach in our service area.- Provide Healthy Relationship Education for Middle School and High School students. This multi-session curriculum uses behavioral, psycho-motor, and interactive methods to address the root causes of dating, sexual, and gender-based violence. - Supervise the HAVEN Teen Troupe, an interactive theater project and peer-leadership project in The Dalles. - Provide training and policy consultation to agency partners and community members. - Manage the HAVEN Crisis Line, a 24-hour response line for victims and survivors of IPV. As a non-profit employee, I enjoy the flexibility of my position and the variety of tasks that I can perform in the course of a 'normal' day. My approach highlights dignity and respect, healthy relationships, bullying prevention, empowerment and positive norming for youth, and safe use of technology and social media.

Provided outreach to sustainable tourism providers, managed membership program, provided education regarding sustainable tourism promising practices and the benefits of eco-certification.

MCV is the grassroots voice of Montana's conservation community. I managed small and large donor fundraising, events, board-related fundraising, and the monthly maintenance on the membership program. I also helped develop the yearly fundraising plan and assisted with budgeting and accounting.
