- Managing the administration of the Stamford Senior Youth Theatre’s (SSYT) annual show, organising their week-long annual tour and in-house dates, finding transport for members, ensuring their safety whilst on tour, liaising with educational institutions to book tour venues and creating budgets for the group.- Engaging with community groups, teachers, school groups, families, individuals, artists, charitable organisations and professional companies to raise awareness about the two arts venues with the aim of encouraging involvement in arts activities and community engagement. - Marketing specific projects to the target demographic through effective publicity material. - Writing press releases, designing posters on Photoshop and creating e-mail newsletters through such tools as Mailchimp. I also help to manage the Facebook and Twitter accounts for both arts centres.- Working closely with Lincolnshire One Venues, a network of 10 arts venues committed to promoting arts in the region with a specific focus on arts activities for young people aged 12-25.- As part of this role I also act as a Box Office Assistant when required. As a key member of front line staff, I ensure visitors have a positive experience when they visit the venue, answer general and tourist information queries. I am trained in operating the Databox Ticketing System to make reservations and sell tickets for Stamford and the Guildhall Arts Centre productions. This role also involves cashing up and completing end-of-day transaction reports.

Throughout this role I directed, produced and marketed the Guildhall Arts Centre’s youth drama productions. This included West Side Story (2012), Dr Horrible's Sing-A-Long-Blog (2012) Footloose (2013), The History Boys (2013) and The Addams Family Musical (2014) The number of young people in the cast varied from 8 to 35 young people, with participants ranging from 10 to 20 years of age. Tasks included working closely with the young people to increase their confidence and develop their skills, producing high quality productions whilst ensuring the process was engaging for members, obtaining a license for the productions, advertising auditions, casting the productions, creating and monitoring budgets, constructing cast agreements, forming a rehearsal schedule, organising rehearsal space, designing programmes and print for the productions, ensuring press coverage and other publicity is effectively achieved, sourcing and managing an MD and orchestra, arranging set design and sourcing props. All of which needed to be completed within a very tight time-scale.

My role involved creating and sustaining relationships with national and regional publications, organising press nights and reading through potential scripts that were submitted to the theatre, providing an analysis of their potential.
