• Responsible for managing all operations of a membership organisation including finance, marketing, events and administration and leading a team of six.

• Ensured business continuity during a period of change in management of the organisation and successful handover to new CEO.
• Led a complete review of accounts for the year. Improved our creditor position and reclaimed debt of over 120k.

• Large scale change management; designed and implemented systems to improve business practices.
• Designed a project management system that substantially increased productivity and reduced over-running projects by half. Achieved buy-in for the system from every level of the organisation; changed imbedded working.
• Successfully created a financial management system from scratch. Assumed responsibility for financial data management at the organisation and contributed to strategic business plans.
• Continuously ensured working systems were fit for purpose; designing and implementing improvements where these were not.
• Operational management of Research & Consulting team, ensuring current and proposed projects could be delivered to time and budget and resourced appropriately.
• Managed all client agreements; provided guidance and advice on terms and conditions.

• Intensive stakeholder management to resolve issues regarding the pension fund and benefit provision for an investment bank’s pension scheme.
• Successfully managed project transferring more than 2000 deferred members of the Fund’s benefits of over £3 million to other pension schemes; completed two months before deadline.
• Improved business practices including internal and external communication, developed systems and processes to improve efficiency and conducting reviews of suppliers.
