AIESEC is a global non-profit organization established in 1948 that creates volunteer and internship opportunities abroad for young people to develop leadership skills and cross-cultural understanding.My role as Volunteer Exchange Manager includes assessing participant interests by consultations, conducting International Relations calls with entities worldwide to maintain andestablish new global partnerships, communicating value propositions of our programs and the UN SDGs, and the like.

Connect one-on-one with experienced mentors in the field of political science.Participate in exclusive workshops and seminars designed to enhance your academic and professional skills.Engage in meaningful discussions and networking events with fellow mentees and PSSA members.

Further improved interpersonal skills by befriending and talking with the residents because of the slower-paced nature of the job. Learned additional dining etiquette due to the high-end setting, and continued to work on teamwork, communication, and time management.

Learned to time manage by efficiently and calmly work under pressure under a fast-paced environment, as well as to be personable and kind to each individual while aiming to provide speedy service. Also learned important communication skills and to work well with different team members from all walks of life.Furthermore, learned to resolve conflicts and remain calm and respectful in the case of encountering excited and unhappy customers.

Learned to curate courses aimed for a young child that would be educational but also engaging, learned to work together with a coworker and compromise when needed.
