Anna is a sophomore at Columbia College studying Climate System Science. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, she loves attending classical music concerts, playing rugby, cycling on the 9W Highway, and cooking traditional Chinese dishes. Since Summer 2024, she has been a research assistant for Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory’s Organic Geochemistry / Microbial Evolution and Biogeochemistry Lab, analyzing the seasonal and geospatial patterns of geochemical ocean conditions in areas of high phytoplankton productivity.
