Lead the engineering and quality implementation/industrialization of new products, as well as improvement of existing range to secure quality and compliance to all IKEA requirements.

Work with Global and Regional Marketing, R&D, Sourcing and Production teams to actively plan and support the introduction of new products to Manufacturing; Represent the department as a core team member to provide technical expertise for appropriate production process, material definition and overall design for manufacturability for new launches; Advise and Instruct Contract Manufacturers on Product Specifications, BOM’s and Quality requirements

Identify & track the project deliverables including customer and internal requirements; Create and deliver project work plans and revise them as appropriate to meet changing business needs and requirements; Measure and monitor supplier quality performance on an ongoing basis by managing Quality Operating System

Ensuring availability of components on time and in full for production according to a fixed production plan; Expedite and reschedule open purchase orders to suit production planning requirements; Review supplier capacity planning to ensure capacity requirements are satisfied based on sales forecasts; Build professional supplier and internal relationships in order to improve cooperation; Measure suppliers KPI’s and challenge them for continuous Supply Chain improvement

Support Project Co-ordination Manager in synchronization of activities (in Civil works, Processing and Packaging area) linked with the project realization, in order to ensure timely completion of project; Support in creation and update of the Rainbow project schedule to ensure clarity in understanding of the Project status and its next steps; Maintain efficient communication within the project team and business partners to assure required alignment of project tasks

Completion of all processing documentation in accordance with current GMP and FDA regulations; Manufacturing of clinical trials, registration and validation batches on the GEA Pharma Systems and iFix application software; Setting-up, cleaning and operating production machinery and equipment; Completing paperwork for setting-up of a production order and inputting the paperwork to SAP System; Measure and monitor the moisture content of granulate; Performing in-process sampling and quality checks of Bulk Tablets in Processing Department; Sampling of purified water in production plant; Assisting maintenance in trouble-shooting issues
