At Lafayette, I am an intern in the Office of Sustainabilty as an Eco Rep Coordinator. In my role, I oversee 18 students whose job is to promote sustainability in their residence halls. I help plan campus-wide sustainability events, prepare for meetings with my peers, and work closely with the Office to reach our carbon neutrality goals for 2035.

As an office/site assistant, I ran the logistics behind each program, set up for program activities, and provided transportation and first aid care for students.

I was able to learn about how insurance is run, the aspects of the legal department, and how the company continues to grow successfully. This internship gave a greater look into the world of insurance and these skills will be transferable for future opportunities to come.

Throughout the summer, I assisted a disabled students experience through their job as an usher in the Rail-riders baseball stadium. Everyday, I would pick up the student from their home, get them ready for their shift at the stadium, and facilitate interactions with fans, ushering, and cleaning with the student. This was an amazing opportunity to be able.

In this seven month program, a team of peers and I fundraised and volunteered for CEO food bank. We collaborated with Kevin’s Worlwide to create masks for the covid-19 pandemic. We then sold the masks through networking and marketing to raise over $2,000. At the end of the program, we presented our project to family, friends, and the community. Throughout.
