As a Marketing Special and Business Analyst I was responsible for establishing connections with the Russian Government on behalf of The Embassy. This included responsibilities for identifying opportunities for bilateral cooperation for government and business, and administrating delegations to initiate them. As a business analyst I was responsible for collecting information and analyzing opportunities for Indian companies with an interest in the Russian market. During my stay at The Embassy, I was part of a team that arranged more than 10 meetings between Indian and Russian companies, industry special interest groups (SIG) and government officials.

As a Senior Foreign Correspondent in New Delhi I had the overall responsibility for covering South Asian news for regions of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri-Lanka. Rossiya Segodnya, or RIA Novosti as it is commonly called, is the leading russian government owned news agency with more than 70 international offices.

As a Communication Advisor I was responsible for developing the media strategies and managing their execution for several large political and social projects in Russia. My duties for developing strategies included analysis of past campaigns, collecting, defining and refining the clients requirements and objectives through facilitated workshops, tailoring the message to the target audiences, and finding/selecting channels to reach them. My duties for managing their execution included the monitoring of the campaign effectiveness and providing corrective actions, performing post campaign analysis of its effectiveness and objective fit, and assuring expenditures did not exceed clients budget.ISERP - Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy - is a think tank that develops strategies and solutions for domestic politics in Russia.

As Media Specialist/Analyst for the OSCE I was responsible for monitoring how the candidates of the two elections I followed behaved in the media. The results of the media monitoring and analysis was part of the source material used in evaluation of the election's legitimacy. OSCE - Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe - and ODIHR - Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights - is an intergovernmental organization consisting of 57 member states.
