• Published the Article, "Using multimodal texts to reconcile history in W.G. Sebald's Austerlitz" In the Quebecois scholarly journal, Post-Scriptum. •I finished my Masters in English at Cal Poly with a concentration in Historicism and Narratology in American, British, and Romantics Literature in June, 2022. I intend to either teach at a junior college, perform remote work (i.e. proofreading, editing, writing, or research), or obtain my PhD, but I am open to all possibilities.•Author of Eyes of Eve under my nom de plume Aïda Reid and winner of the PCK Publishers 2021 Short Story in Historical Fiction. •I have worked at several different types of companies: I have interned as an assistant editor at Nasser Entertainment (partnered with Warner Bros); I have been the Outreach and Social Media Coordinator for the nonprofit organization Green Technology; I have also been a tutor and English teacher at Valencia Tutors, a supplemental and after school program. During my time at Cal Poly I taught 4 quarters of English Composition as an Instructor of Record and served as an Academic Coordinator for Cal Poly's D1 student-athletes. Most recently, I have worked as an Academic Writing Advisor for medical students at Shemmassian Consulting. From 2015-2020 and from 2022 to the present, I have worked for Feld Entertainment as a lead specialty performer and have been fortunate to travel to many countries and continents. With this skill set, I am frequently asked to do a lot of media relations, which includes phone, television, and radio interviews as well as being responsible for the continuing education of the apparatus and performance for the specialty act I perform for understudies. I also have a minor in Communications and Media Relations. With my diverse background, I believe I am a highly qualified candidate for almost any position in the entertainment, writing, and media relations industries.
