I am working in the Tian lab as an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Zhenyu Tian. I am working with environmental analytical chemistry. Specifically I will be optimizing the solid phase extraction standard operating procedure, learning how to operate a liquid chromatography mass spectrometer, and learning how to grab sample surface waters.

I am working as a teaching assistant for the Marine Biology class at Northeastern. I am running a lab section, overseeing experiments, and providing feedback on writing assignments.

I balanced accounts, organized paperwork, and managed the front of the office, as well as prepping charts and occasionally aided the veterinarian with the appointments. a six month internship at the Marine Biological Laboratory working in cephalopod animal care and husbandry. I worked on diet specialization, habitat maintenance, general welfare, assessment of the viability of eggs, preservation of genetic lineages, and broodstock growth and maintenance of the species Octopus Chierchiae. I also worked on improving the mating procedures, tank preparation and design for hatchlings, and incubation techniques for discarded eggs.

I demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and responsibility as part of the staff team and supervised 84 kids during weeklong camps. I also planned and led nature and history related activities for the kids. Additionally, I practiced conflict resolution amongst the campers and other staffers
