I coordinated the scheduling and staffing of mediations referred to Community Mediation from partners such as schools, State's Attorney's Office, Police, re-entry programs, community organizations and MHIC. I also coordinated continuing and advanced trainings, developed partnerships, met with funders, and provided quality assurance, mentorship, and supervision for over 130 volunteer mediators.

I calculated retirement benefits, service credit, and cost to transfer time into our system; answered questions about benefits and updated beneficiary information; met with new fire & police recruits to inform them about the benefits they are entitled to as members of the system; counseled members who are retiring & assist them with paperwork; calculated line-of-duty disability, non line-of-duty disability, and service retirement benefits for retiring members; completed salary verification; coordinator of the Combined Charities Campaign for 2009.

I completed the 50 hour mediator training; co-facilitated 3 50 hour training classes; helped enrich and build new partnerships with new and existing communities within Baltimore City; formed a collaborative effort with community and staff members to create a float for the Martin Luther King Day Parade; completed grant proposals; co-facilitated small conflict resolution trainings throughout Baltimore including schools, detention centers, and community centers.

I tutored near-passing students to help them stay on grade level at Booker T. Washington Middle School; conducted research on social emotional learning, gang prevention, and the Harlem Children's Zone; helped develop Requests for Proposals to enhance funding and services.

I counseled children and their families individually and in a group setting; completed case notes for the children and families seen; attended school meals and meetings; prepared and facilitated several community organization projects; co-facilitated a planting group of children and volunteers from Home Depot in a school beautification project; organized a bowl-a-thon fundraiser for School Based Mental Health.
