I am a clinic team leader and a certified ophthalmic assistant (COA) at EyeOne, PLC, a leading provider of comprehensive eye care services in Virginia. I have over seven years of experience in performing various ophthalmic tests, such as biometry, tonometry, and refraction, as well as assisting doctors with exams, procedures, and surgeries. I also train and mentor new ophthalmic assistants, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in the field of ophthalmology. I provide support to both clinical and administrative teams. I perform 30-40 biometry and topographies each week for 6 busy ophthalmologists. I am also skilled at performing A-scans. I am passionate about improving people's vision and eye health, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies in this fast-changing and dynamic industry. As a cataract surgery coordinator, I shoulder the responsibility of creating detailed schedules, and preparing and facilitating cataract surgeries for patients, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and outcomes.
