Animal Welfare Center

• Responsible for overall operations of the high-volume spay and neuter clinic office administration, and maintaining all aspects of transport system.
• Responsibilities included maintaining complete and accurate records of spay and neuter clinic patients, maintaining transport schedule, and coordinating with transport partners.
• Sustained spay/neuter clinic schedule.
• Maintained account receivables for all owner and volume clients.
• Answered clinic phones and returning all messages in a timely manner.
• Coordinated with local rescue groups to meet their spay/neuter needs.

Animal Welfare Center

• Provided support for pet owners who are at risk of surrendering their pets.
• Educated pet owners in underserved areas on responsible pet ownership.
• Educated students through programs by informing them about the following:o -Pet Overpopulationo -Dog fightingo -Outdoor dogs
• Assisted pet owners living in nearby homeless camps by providing pet food, basic veterinary care, and spay and neuter services when needed.
• Temporarily housed animals at the Animal Welfare Center during the winter while pet owners took refuge in local shelters.
• Attended neighborhood events to inform community about responsible pet ownership, answer any pet care questions, and inform patrons of services offered at the IndyHumane Animal Welfare Center.
