Scope of responsibility: direct investment.Key responsibilities:Evaluating and analysing investment projects, handling business assessment in-house. Establishing procedures for acquisitions, mergers and new project financing (M&A).Organising and coordinating transaction execution teams. Financial management and supervision: - setting up a project management system; - creating business supervision, planning points and mechanisms; - building and fine-tuning a team within the business/project and collaborating with the shareholder’s representative. Analysing and controlling project finance metrics. Analysing deviations and taking corrective actions. Creating and implementing employee incentive plans, compensation and benefit programmes. Key attainments and results: 1. Built up a project management system (direct investment) from scratch. 2. The project portfolio grew from 1 to 10 projects under management in peak periods. 3. Built up a project management team within the company and a network of partners outside it. 4. Implemented accounting and supervision procedures for individual projects, as well as a unified report template for the shareholder and office top management.5. Arranged business asset sale and purchase transactions worth a total of approximately USD 1 bn. 6. Obtained an economic effect of approximately USD 20 m in net savings through structuring and management of the owner’s non-business assets.7. Effected necessary replacements and strengthened top management teams for a group of businesses, without judicial proceedings or fines, in performing assets with a total value of approximately USD 750 m.
