Senior Project Coordinator Child Safeguarding
Current•Projects Coordination Boosted positioning of SCIT as CSG expert in Italy. Enhanced professionals’ capacities to build Child Safeguarding (CSG) systems to reduce child abuse and neglect on children and transform their organizations’ culture. I managed 7 Child Safeguarding projects (€ 700K+):produced financial/technical project amendments and reports to donors; organized trainings, awareness events, children’s consultations; coordinated the development of Child Safeguarding website and E-learning scheme;coordinated production of CSG toolkits, publications; supported advocacy components of projects; developed projects comms plan to build awareness on CSG. Built-up effective collaboration with donors (Italian institutions,private entities,EU), partners (CSOs,NGOs) and other SCIT programs/business functions.•MEAL Monthly planning, forecast, monitoring of activities and budget. Designed and managed the MEAL plan to monitor projects outcome and impact (designed indicators and means of verification, produced evaluation reports to make evidence of projects impact).Designed MEAL tool to monitor impact of the CSG, Online and GBV Programs Strategies 2022-2024. •People management Coordinated projects’ teams of 6+ members (staff,consultants,partners).Put in place new management tools for efficient coordination and projects roll-out (organized the shared repository for the Unit, systematized thematic CSG library). •SOGIESC Introduced, mainstreamed and positioned SOGIESC related issues within SCIT leadership and staff. Founded and led the first LGBTQIA+ staff affinity group: shaped its strategy, built the community (80+ members); raised awareness through sensitization events and share of SOGIESC information in the virtual community; promoted socializing activities for the staff. Member of the SCI SOGIESC Task Team. Coordinated the work group writing an advocacy internal document which addressed SOGIESC relevant issues to the SMT,focusing on context analysis and recommendations.
