Enhanced professionals’ capacities to build Child Safeguarding (CSG) systems to reduce child abuse and neglect on children and transform their organizations’ culture. Business development and management of Disaster Risk Reduction and Early Warning program (Africa, Central-South America) • DRR Technical Advisor/Projects Coordination Boosted positioning of ACF as DRR expert. Enhanced COs and local organizations’ capacities to better prevent disasters and mitigate risks: activated citizens, volunteers and professionals as change makers to make communities more resilient. I achieved this by managing 6 DRR projects (€ 1M+ delivered, 2 new projects designed mobilizing 1M € from Eacea-EU): produced financial/technical project amendments, reviewed and cleared COs projects’ deliverables and reports for donors; supported COs to organize trainings and sensitizations which strengthened local means, knowledge and capacities to implement early warning and response mechanisms. Boosted Volunteer Management scheme of 10+ deployed DRR EU Aid Volunteers: provided technical support, organized training (brief/debrief sessions), carried-out field visits to duty stations to monitor performance and wellbeing, coaching for career development. • Boosted early warning mechanism on local threats to protection of civilians, by gathering, classifying, and following up daily alerts from field staff deployed to 20+ UN military bases:produced daily, weekly, quarterly progress reports providing conflict analysis and recommendations for effective decision making of Mission Leadership. •Enhanced UN Mission’s prevention capacity, coordinating the Secretariat of the Provincial Senior Management Group on Protection (SMGP-P):ensured UN Civil-Military coordination, involved UN Mission, UN Agencies, NGOs in 40+ weekly meetings (agendas,briefing notes,minutes); organized and led 20+ urgent multi-disciplinary cross-section and interagency Joint Protection Teams/Joint Assessment Missions (JPT/JAM), liaising with communities, CSOs, authorities and formulated recommendations to prevent/mitigate conflict;monitored SMGP-P implementation of recommendations to ensure protection.• Strengthened UN Mission role as innovative lead actor for youth participation and Community-Based Protection, boosted as impactful approaches for conflict-resolution.I mobilized and empowered hundreds of youths, women, CSOs and authorities in 10+ capacity building and awareness activities,which I planned and implemented.
