Supported student-led fieldwork to Liverpool. • GEOG2581 - Political GeographyDeliver content and facilitate discussions on current debates in political geography and political sciences on migration and borders, photography of war, nationalism, and political feminist schools of thought.[Oct 2021 – May 2022] • GEOG3581- Territory and GeopoliticsAssisting in the delivery of course seminars and its 1-week fieldtrip in Jerusalem. Issues on settler-colonialism and cultural geographies.[Oct 2018 – May 2019] • Politics and Space (Level 3)Delivering two-hour interactive workshops that dive deep into concepts from lectures and applying them to historic and ongoing issues. Border security, statues and heritage, colonialism, violence. (~40 students) • Political Geography (Level 2)Facilitating discussions that engage directly with students' understanding and thoughts on issues on State and Nation, citizenship, performing geopolitics, postcolonialism and race. (~10 students) • Geographies of Crisis (Level 1)Delivering workshops on climate change tensions, climate change actions, forced migration, political reactions. Esp unpacking tools and concepts that appreciate scales, temporality, and agency. (~20 students)

Working on a research project relating to the use of GPS inclusive mobile technologies in enhancing data collection, learning experiences, and reflective processes from self-guided field trips. I was responsible for literature research and review, conducting interviews, data retrieval and management, qualitative data analysis, report writing, and other research-related duties. Strength in qualitative research methods, interpersonal and communication skills, work- ethic and responsibility, and time management was vital in this role.

• Representing students who are currently studying Japanese at the university• Voicing opinions of fellow students • On the forefront of enacting change within the Foreign Language Centre (FLC) to enhance student's learning environment • Working alongside other languages' student representatives as well as the FLC staff and appropriate university staff.

The S.A.M Students Achieving More project engages student volunteers to work weekly with young students at a local primary school. Duties include: a range of educational activities as well as arts and crafts.

• Peer-Mentoring allows second and third year students to give back all the support, guidance and expertise received by their mentors and lecturers in the previous year, to the new freshers taking Geography. • Bi-weekly contact-times during the year to share experiences, advice and troubleshoot any problems the new cohort may be facing. Furthermore, exercises to strengthen academic skills especially required in Geography is undertaken to ensure the skills they have gained from e.g. A-Levels or IB are polished to university expectations.

A volunteer mentor position with the International Student Support Liaison. • Supporting and signposting new international under/post-graduate students into the university and the city. • Building a strong, supportive, reliable rapport with my 'chums' to ensure their transition into Exeter is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

As a member of the International Welcome and Welfare Team, I am involved in the truly unique service of aiding the new cohorts' transition into the university. I brought to the table my own knowledge, experience and advice regarding the university, the administrative details, flexibility, leadership skills and enthusiasm. • Signposting, troubleshooting administrative procedures, managing and mobilizing large amounts of students, helping them acclimatise to the environment, managing social events held by the university during and after Freshers' Week.
