While music has been my focus for most of my life, I have learned so much more than how to play an instrument. Over the years, I've learned how to be disciplined, focused, and doggedly persistent in order to perform at a high level. I've also collaborated with dozens of small and large ensembles, which has helped develop my skills in collaboration, communication, and leadership. The sense of comradery, of working towards a mutual goal, and the feeling of accomplishment and gratitude when that has been achieved motivates me and draws me toward collaborative work, whether that is in the context of an orchestra or a team of developers. I look forward to taking my skills and experiences from my life as a musician to the tech world.I have always loved learning and had an affinity for math and puzzles. While much of what I learned at Tech Elevator was new and unfamiliar, the use of logic, the methods for problem-solving, and the attention to detail felt intuitive. I am excited to be pushing myself outside my comfort zone and learning new things while building on the knowledge and skills I already possess. I aim to always continue this process of expanding my mind and experiences in every aspect of my life - as a musician, as a software developer, as a human being.
