I'm a storyteller by passion and marine conservationist by profession 🧜🏽‍♀️ I work as a consultant for various local and international institutions and run an NGO I co-founded in 2011 called Save Philippine Seas. As the Chief Mermaid of Save Philippine Seas, I've played the roles of project manager, communications specialist, researcher, writer, module developer, fundraiser, and policy writer/analyst. Most of my time is spent on projects that focus on shark conservation, waste management and circular economy, and environmental education and conservation leadership. Before I was a mermaid, I was a musical theatre performer and lifestyle journalist. I'm also a bookworm, popcorn lover, red lipstick connoisseur, sunscreen advocate, and Oxford comma supporter.
