Working for the Student Conservation Association at the DEC's Hudson River Estuary Program. Leading the Trees for Tribs program in project coordination, planting ~8,000 trees and shrubs at project sites across the Hudson Valley.

Co-Directed and Produced a full feature documentary entitled "Inhabitants: An Indigenous Perspective" which follows five Tribes as they adapt to and offer guidance on today's climate crisis by restoring or maintaining their traditional land stewardship practices.

Investigating impacts of climate change on water resources and agriculture in tribal communities in Western N America for the USDA funded Native Waters on Arid Lands Project. Working on- 1. identifying the data needs of natural resource managers, farmers, and ranchers so more informed decisions on tribal lands can be made. 2. Closing informational gaps and create an accurate picture of current agricultural conditions and future vulnerabilities. 3. Projecting future vulnerabilities and identifying specific priorities that enhance the climate resiliency and the degree to which adjustments in agricultural and ranching practices or management structures can moderate or offset the potential for damage or take advantage of opportunities created by a given change in climate.

Conducting research at the Tree Ring Lab with NASA scientist Dr. Benjamin Cook. Currently decoding the climatic history of 11 Native American reservations in the Western N America using tree rings as an effective proxy (dendrochronology). Working towards developing working relationships with tribal environmental professionals to collaborate and generate relevant proxy indicators as a potential planning and resilience tool for tribal leadership.

Greater New York City Area

Designed and taught Land Use Planning curriculum to high school students throughout Rockland County. Facilitated Basic Environmental Awareness Training to elementary school students throughout.

Stockholm Metropolitan Area

Completed a Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment studying the climate hazard of drought on 72 Tribal Nations in the American Southwest as part of the Native Waters on Arid Lands USDA funded project. This Thesis combined socioeconomic data and conventional scientific climate parameters into an index that allows for maps to be produced and the relative vulnerability of communities(*sovereign tribal nations) to be better understood. This assessment facilitates identification and prioritization of the drivers of vulnerability and focuses on adaptation interventions to address these drivers.

Contributing writer for the Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) for the unincorporated town of Greenburgh. Environmental impacts considered: II. Sustainability III. Organized and established first campus wide composting initiative at SUNY Purchase. Managed and maintained the industrial sized “Rocket” Composting machine. Processed 460 gallons of food waste per week and monitored daily input, output and temperature. Played key role in education and outreach among my peers, faculty and staff, and the media.

Led canvassers around NYC, fundraising for the nation's first ever successful statewide fracking ban. Supervised canvassers on a daily basis, facilitated check-ins o n site and led trainings.
