Graduate Trainee with Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington, funded by the North West Net Zero Hub/DESNZ. I support the implementation of the Net Zero and economic strategies within Cheshire and Warrington. I work with local authorities, regional combined authorities (GMCA and LCRCA) and the private sector to achieve Net Zero through sector decarbonisation. I work with ECW’s core strategy team to understand project pipelines and advancing our vision to become the healthiest, most sustainable, inclusive and growing economy in the UK.

As part of my role at ECW, I am part of the North West Net Zero Hub and support the Hub on Net Zero projects as a Junior Officer. I regularly attend the NWNZ Hub steering group on behalf of ECW, as well as DESNZ conferences with the Hub and weekly Junior Officer meetings. I am currently involved with providing technical support to applicants on the Community Energy Fund. The Hub is currently supporting my development and training.

Working within the ESG team on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) projects, under the ESG Associate Director in the Manchester office. My role involved researching and reviewing the retirement housing sector. I produced an in-depth slide deck on the retirement housing sector for a client, to understand key ESG issues to consider when selling available land to developers, regarding what key areas these developers should focus on implementing as part of their ESG reporting. This was produced alongside an Excel data sheet to give a good overview of the market. I also worked with a BNG habitat bank, producing written articles and conducting a site visit to conduct interviews in order to market the important work of the habitat bank.

Working within the Gascoigne Halman Estate Agents Hale office to build experience within the Property industry. Carrying out viewings on behalf of clients and managing viewers' queries. Liaising between clients and potential buyers. Working within the office, answering the phones and managing paperwork.

One of 20 successful applicants to the University of Birmingham’s Alumni Leadership Mentoring Programme. The scheme was made up of 20 world class mentors from a range of sectors. I worked with my mentor through areas of my personal development. Throughout my final year, my mentor helped me with coaching sessions regarding my career and focusing on my strengths. Incredibly invaluable experience which has helped me in the long-term for my career journey.

Carrying out crucial work alongside crowd safety experts and the All England's Security teams to monitor the safety and overall performance of the Championships to maximise and improve efficiency. Included the monitoring of G4S bag searches and the flow of people through main gates/bridges and public spaces.
