I was CoCA's first staff hire in over a decade and worked as the Outreach & Development Director from January 2013 to March 2016, successfully leading CoCA to greater financial and organizational stability. I also served as a CoCA Archives Project Director and worked with all team members, provided oversight, direction and continuity and was responsible for curating the digital archive images, writing content, leading outreach and fundraising efforts. Special thanks to 4Culture (Seattle) for supporting the CoCA Archives Project.

Through outreach efforts, exploded social networking connections resulting in stronger community involvement in for all aspects of organization including membership, audience and artist participation. Assisted with Board development, including revamping Board application process and strategic planning. Greatly expanded volunteer and internship program to provide hands on experience and leverage funding. Launched CoCA Archive Project as a way to preserve and share organization's 35 year history. Successful efforts resulted in CoCA being financially able to hire the first Executive Director in 10 years. Left position to focus on archival work.

Digital Collections Intern, Bullitt LibrarySeattle Art Museum Mar 2018 - Sep 2018Greater Seattle AreaFor this directed fieldwork experience, I digitized a collection of print brochures created for Seattle Art Museum's "Documents Northwest: The PONCHO Series," that ran from 1983-2004 and featured local artists (either born in the PNW or living here at the time) in 61 exhibitions. I interviewed curators Bruce Guenther and Vicky Halper to preserve their oral histories about the founding and growth of this influential exhibition series. I also completed an in-depth exploration of the Seattle Art Museum's extensive newspaper clippings files to create an annotated bibliography that features reviews, articles and press releases about "Documents Northwest." This internship was made possible with the support of ARLIS/NA Wolfgang M. Frietag Award. -
