Having previously worked within the recruitment and hospitality sectors, it’s fair to say that I’m very much a ‘people person’. At Smart Directions this is no different — I know when to listen and how to communicate, helping me to build strong relationships with our customers and suppliers alike. Day to day, I provide quotes and invoices to customers, update the booking system, certify proof of delivery for our customers, and ensure that every shipment is on track with our diverse list of suppliers, such as DHL, TNT, and Tuffnells. Additionally, I create detailed manifests and work directly with our warehousing team to streamline loading and offloading at our warehousing facility.Before joining the team at Smart Directions, I was able to hone my skills when it came to customer support. But, there was more than just that — my work ethic also developed, helping me to become a hardworking and self-motivated team player who knows when to take their own initiative.
